THEME AND TOPICS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The general theme of the symposium is Climate, Water and Society \u2013 Changes and Challenges. <\/em><\/strong>Within this general theme, several major topics have been defined, altogether covering various issues related to climate and water, as well as to their interactions with society and other components of the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  <\/strong>Topics <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Climate change, impacts, actions and adaptation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Climatic and hydrological hazards: managing the associated risks<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Data acquisition, geomatics and modelling in climatology<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Climate and air quality in urban areas <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Climate, health and human well-being<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Climatic resources, <\/em><\/strong>agroclimatology<\/em><\/strong> and <\/em><\/strong>topoclimatology<\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Water resources: current issues and challenges<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Climate and environmental changes on a regional scale<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

N.B. New entries could also be taken into consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FORMS OF PARTICIPATION AND LANGUAGES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Scientific communications can be held either by oral presentations or by posters, in French or English<\/b>. <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The conference debates are expected to be attended in person<\/b>. <\/b>Depending on the health situation related to the COVID pandemic and on other potentially unforeseen circumstances, the format of the conference may be subject to change.<\/span><\/p>\n
